Rajpoot Crowned Star and Crescent Champions Season 2021

Rajpoot maintained their last two wickets to deny the extra point to Rising Star who needed the point to secure the championship title, Rajpoot batted out the overs with 8 men down and scored 134 to take the championship title for season 2021 and Rising star now reflect on the 1 point they could easily have secure in last week’s match where they had three overs to play and were just 4 runs of the 1 point they need. This has been the most closely contested play off competition with just just 4 points between the top and forth place which demonstrates the standard played the the top end of the tables.

Punjab underestimated Kings XI Lahore and their top form baller Saqlain Shah continued with his deminance with the ball and took 4 wickets in two sperate spell to dominate with the ball. The ballers kept the pressure on Punjab to eventually ball them out for 120, well below par for the ground. Kings XI Lahore lost two quick wickets but a 3rd wicket partnership quickly pushed the score on and scored 75 runs by the 15th over and looked to be in a shout for 2nd place but were relying on the other game result. Punjab fought back with 4 quick wickets to prevented Kings XI Lahore promotion opportunity but it wasn’t enough for Punjab as they fell 1 point short of Rising Star.
